Reality Star Cited for Battery After Las Vegas Casino Fight
Reality TV personality Tarek El Moussa was issued a citation for battery in Las Vegas after reportedly knocking a man unconscious at the Palazzo in the Venetian Resort last Thursday.
Witnesses informed TMZ that the HGTV star of “The Flip Off” kneed another individual in the head, rendering him unconscious. A source near El Moussa informed the site that he was protecting his 77-year-old father after the elder “overstepped” with him.

El Moussa visited Las Vegas to present the keynote address at Luxury by JCK, a yearly upscale trade exhibition hosted at the Venetian. His wife Heather Rae Young, along with their children and parents, accompanied him.
El Moussa and Young co-host the reality competition series "The Flip Off," together with El Moussa's former wife, Christina Haack. They are all agents in real estate and property renovators.
El Moussa and Haack co-hosted the HGTV reality show “Flip or Flop” from 2013 to 2022, continuing even after their separation in May 2016 and divorce in 2018.
In Nevada, a misdemeanor battery offense may result in a sentence of a maximum of six months in jail or a fine of as much as $1,000. Citations for misdemeanor battery are frequently given without an arrest when the victim does not suffer serious injuries and no lethal weapon is present.
